The backstage hotel in Amsterdam is pretty cheap (shared toilet/shower: € 27,50 single, € 31,- double | private toilet/shower: € 50,- single, € 72,50 double), offers rooms up with up till 5 beds, and is located very near to most of the Amsterdam venues; Paradiso, Melkweg, Maloe Melo and many others.

All rooms have an iPod docking station, and there is free (WiFi) internet access in the hotel+bar. There is also a pool table in the bar.

Oh, the hotel is completely non-smoking, so both rooms and the hotel bar.
