Sjätte Tunnan (aka. The Sixth Barrel) is a medieval style restaurant located in the Old Town of Stockholm.

Make your way down a long set of stairs to the candle lit cellars where you will find several cavern-style rooms, their walls adorned with swords and shields from a bygone era. Sit yourself down on a rustic wooden bench and you will be served various traditional dishes which you can eat with your bare hands and a lone spoon. Make sure to ask for a goblet of tasty mead ‘beer’ to wash it down. Not surprisingly, a number of metal bands such as Enslaved and Necrophobic have had their album release parties in this very fitting location.
